When I import a QuickTime movie into MyDVD 6.1.6, I can see the video, but the sound is inaudible and makes a repeated "thumping" sound.  Is there a program that will fix this or convert the QuickTime MOV to an acceptable format for MyDVD?  Should I upgrade MyDVD and if so, will that solve the problem?

FYI the QuickTime programs that have been downloaded (so that I can view my grandkids videos via e-mail) are QuickTime Installer version 7.1.6.200, Picture viewer.exe, QT Info.exe, QT O Control, QuickTime Player, QT System, CoreVideo.Resources, QuickTime Player.Resources.

I don't know very much about these things so I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks!

YES!  I found the solution.  I purchased MOVAVI VideoSuite 4.5 and it converted QuickTime to AVI and any other format that I needed.  Once it was changed to AVI, I could import it into MyDVD.  When you purchase the program, you can download it immediately and also purchase a CD of the program for installation if you need it for re-installation at another time.  I have been very pleased with it and would recommend it to you.
