Roxio hangs while encoding

I am using EMC 9 and MyDVD or MyDVD Express. I am running Vista Home Premium on a core duo with 2GB RAM. Latest firmware for driver. Didn't see a software update for EMC9.

EVERY time I attempt to burn a large DVD to disc or ISO image EMC hangs while encoding. The system doesn't crash though the encoding process remains at 0%. When I eventually (one time after 6 hours) attempt to cancel the process the system stops. I then try to ctr-alt-del for task manager to force quit and the system crashes hard.

Why?

That usually indicates that you need to update the drivers for your video card. If you have an integrated video chip, update the drivers, and if it still doesn't work, try the Software rendering setting.

[size=7]I also have this problem and was wondering if any one has gotten there problem fixed myet????


I am lost and any help would be appreciated.
