Hi guys, I wanted to know if there was any way to hook up the Sony DVDirect unit to my computer and use it to capture my video from camcorder to mpeg file without having to burn it onto a dvd on the DVDirect unit than capture it on my hard drive and then edit and burn it?

Let me know please
