Speed what up? It is what it is even when it's not good!

To quote the Urban Dictionary "It's happened. 'I'm going to forget about it. I'm going to move on. There is nothing that can be done about it."
Yes, it may not be right, fair, sensible or whatever but I'm moving on. 9.1 will either come out or not. v10 will either fix things once and for all or make things worse. I'm just tired hearing about it. That doesn't mean nothing should have been done to fix problems, just my own feelings. So many have expressed their feelings and mine is simply that I quit worrying about it any longer.

Perhaps that is why Sonic's, parent company of Roxio, stock price has been trending downward over the last 3 years while the market has been trending upwards. There is only one business I know of where the customers are satisfied with being screwed and become repeat customers. It is most definitely not the Video editing business

Not to beat a dead horse.... We (users of this forum & software) have been promised by Representatives of Roxio that there will indeed be a patch for V9. It is coming soon. Really, really, really soon I am sure.
I don't know where the rumors of V10 came from because in the past when V10 was mentioned, no one knew of any V10 release. However as of late, there are no more denials.
Common sense tells us that the next release will be V10 (just because 10 comes after 9
I would be very disappointed if V9 were left as is without addressing a few of the known issues whether we are talking about XP or Vista.
Maybe a bit a verification would be in order from John or Tom @ Roxio. Patch, no patch, V10, whatever.
If no patch is going to be available, I would like to know so I can get this software cleaned off my rig. If instead of the soon to be released patch V10 will take it's place, when will that be available and what will it cost a V9 owner?

Maybe 10 is 9.1 in sheeps clothing.
I think if John knew, he'd post something. The last thing he and Roxio want to do is to tick people off. Yes, I know people ARE ticked off but whatever the reason and whether we understand or agree, they must have one for waiting this long. Maybe, just maybe, they want to be sure it fixes problems and does not make any. Yes, a novel idea that is!

The last thing he and Roxio want to do is to tick people off.
Looking at the forum in its entirety, I think the "last thing" is already in progress and growing daily. I know I have switched sides in the last week or so, getting tired of hearing "soon" for 4 or 5 months after all - enough is enough.

You're no alone. I have to believe that most of us want to see it now, and I am not talking about EMC 10.

Roxio added another "soon" message to the "EMC 9.1 Update Delays" thread pinned at the top of this forum.
That makes me more warm and fuzzy...

I was being facious and general. The added post was just another variation of the "soon" excuse.

Don't get me wrong. My feeling is that the patch is LONG overdue, but the post that you were pointing to was an apology about the "soon" patch not being here yet.
