Hello,
Reciently installed EMC8 but I've been having some problems.
When I try to add additional files to an open cd that I have burned data to in the past the HOME screen area doesn't seem to be able to read the disks and the program stops responding, all options are unavailable. However, if I use a CD-RW disk instead of a CD-R it's ok and I can import the previously burned sessions and add additional files & finalize the disk. Also, the same thing happens when I try to just finalize the disk without adding new sessions to it. The program stops working until I manually eject the disk.
It did work fine the first few times I used the program, and the disks I am now attempting to add more data to were made using EMC8. I've uninstalled and installed the entire program 3 times and its still the same.
Finally, if I use the Creator Classic option I can import and add addtional files to CD-R disks, but is there a way to finalize disks from the Creator Classic without going through the Suite 8 HOME screen?
Thanks

Yes, when you go into the Burn screen, you should see the Read Only disc choice which you can check which will not allow more files to be copied to the disc.

Glad that worked out for you.
I'm not a big user of the Home screen but I wonder if you might benefit from a firmware upgrade. Check to see if there is one available for your burner. It can't hurt to update even if it doesn't fix your problem.

That didn't fix it. I'll just have to manage with the bugs until something works out.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.
