What program are you using in the EMC 9 suite? Try Creator Classic.

But something that you might not know as far as your suggestion that some of the files will not transfer. If you are transferring any photos you have in a certain folder and you can look at them using the Thumb Nail option, there is always a file named "THUMBS.DB" that will not transfer. And usually all the error you get is that there is a file that will not transfer. That's usually the thumbs.db file.
One other thought is that when you have a folder that has many multiple sub-folders, there is a limit as to how amny of these sub-folders the program will allow. I am not sure what that number is but maybe someone else can assist in that.

In Classic, before you start to add anything, check File – Project Properties, Exclude File Types tab and clear all. Likewise remove the checkmarks by 'Exclude all hidden files' and 'Exclude all system files'.
See if that makes any difference?
What make of laptop do you have? There are some differences in OEM versions vs. Retail but I would not think this is something that was deliberately left out!
Also curious, my, My Documents folder requires 26 DVD's! How many will yours need?

Hi James,
If you have vista you will notice that it arranges things differently than XP. XP has a 'My Pictures' 'My videos' and 'my Music' folder inside the 'My documents' folder. However Vista has things arranged under the owners name. In my case the documents folder is located in C:\Users\Tim\Documents and the music folder in C:\Users\Tim\Music and so on. So there is no music folder in the documents folder. So when i drag the documents folder to the project there shouldn't be a music folder but alas with Creator basic it will add it. So obviously this was programmed for XP and isn't vista ready in my opinion. Also this version must be different as there is no project properties under the file menu. Under about it says it's version 9.0.551.
Thx,
Tim

No program is capable of going off and hunting for something unless it believes the folder or file is actually there
Check the folder attributes and see if there is a link or something (it may he a hidden file or folder) because it seems to suggest that there is something there that isn't apparently visible
Or better still, just to prove or disprove - use the built-in DVD session writing in Vista and see if that does the same thing

You have an OEM version, take your problems to the OEM provider as they are responsible for support, not Roxio!

Thanks but it's easier to just uninstall the thing? Thanks for your help though.
