I have upgraded from Videowave 7 to Media Creator 9. I have always been able to output the video to a DV AVI format with not problem and the file size is not very large. With the Creator 9 the file size is very large. Is there any settings that I need to change?

If you just want a .avi file (and that is the source) don't use Videowave but use Creator Classic to make a 'data' disc
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

What are you outputting to DV avi? What format is the source? DV avi files are always large even in EMC 7, of course it depends on the time length of the video. 60 minutes of DV avi video gives a file of around 12-14GB.

You will have to give a bit more information on what you are trying to do and how you are doing it.
