I have noticed that when playing an MP3 Jukebox CD, created in EMC9, as one song has finished, and there's silence and the next one is about to be cued up, there is a burst of music that's from the track that was just played - about a second long, but quite annoying. It doesn't do it every single time, but 3 times out of every 5 songs played on a 150+ mp3 CD with no sub-folders. Now, it's most prevalent on my inexpensive mp3/CD boombox, but it also does it on my Kenwood car CD/MP3 player, although not so often. It occurred to me that this could be caused by gaps in the MP3 tracks being too close together and confusing the player. I have looked but I don't think there's any way to adjust the track gaps, is there?

I have never used Jukebox, so I can't help with that, but try Music Disc Creator, and see if your results are better.

As far as the gaps, using Music Disc Creator won't help. The only way I've found to adjust them is by using the Transition and overlapping, this stops the 2 second gap.Only thing is you can't use them when you make an mp3 cd,they're not available.
MDC may well help with the burst problem though.A lot of times the apps from the Start menu work differently than the ones from the Home app.

I have seen someone suggest that going into Options,Data and setting the type to DAO will stop the 2 second gap but  I haven't verified that. Not sure if that applies to an audio disc as well.

Okay, well thank you for your replies. I will try MDC and see if that makes a difference. If I can get rid of the between track bursts, then that's my goal accomplished.
