Hi,

I have many problems with Easy Media Creator Gold version 9
The first thing would be the impossibility to select the options I want to install on the pc's. During the installation it asks which options I want to install, but it installs other ones that are not wanted. For example Backup MyPC Deluxe 7, which is installed and we already have some tools to do the backups over here, so it's an option I don't want.

Second thing. When I run DVDInfoPro, the first time it tells me I must be an administrator to use the application or follow a procedure to make it work with users rights.
I followed the procedure, and now the application crashes as soon as I start it, either as an admin or a user.
On top of that, the installation was done in French, but only DVDInfo is in English

Anybody have a clue? I have to make this suite work on 23 000 pc's and I'm a little bit disappointed

Just curious, what are the applications in the Suite that the 23,000 PCs will use?

Are you referring to the regular Suite version or the Deluxe one?

I think it would be in your best interest to call Roxio's volume licensing department for help. I'm sure they have some sort of batch file so you can install it on.. um... 23000 computers in the exact way you want it to be done without you having to sit there and do it yourself.

However, seeing how this is a user forum, I'm pretty sure that no one here is going to know about the Gold version as it is only available from the volume licensing department (at least thats what it looks like on Roxio's website).

Thanks, I'll give it a try
but previous experience with other companies, I must admit, weren't to helpful when I've called the tech support. Users forum were much better.

PS: the options I want to implement are
Express Labeler
Label Creator
Disc Image Loader
DVDInfo Pro
Creator Classic
CinePlayer
Disc Copier

naturally not everyone will use them all, but it cost less in maintenance to install the same software everywhere, then 15 others ones (software and versions that comes with the hardware).

You mention the install in French. What country? That link is for the US site. Not sure if the numbers are toll free or not. The Canandian volume licensing pages are the same as the link above.

Here is the UK French version

With potential volume licensing purchase for 23000 PCs, I don't think that the sales department and tech support will ignore you. dry.gif

You are right ggrussell, there is others places than Québec where they speak french biggrin.gif
I'm in Canada, so I tried the phone number above and they gave me another phone number to call, where I left a message. So I'm waiting for a call back! unsure.gif

I already had a contact to who I left a message last week, but he never called back. That's why I'm looking for other help

Yeah, if you have 23,000 licenses I would imagine you also have Premium VLP support. If that is the case, you would want to contact the VLP sales rep you guys worked with and they can hook up with the person(s) you will need to work with for support.
