No matter what CD I try to input from, the progress bar freezes at 99% when ripping a track. I have a new computer with Vista Home PRemium and EMC9. Help!

I am running Vista Home Premium also. You need to be more specific as to how you are going about your project.
On the left side of the screen what choices are you using ?
On the "PROJECT TYPE" what options are you using ?
1--Audio CD
2--MP3/WMA Disc
3--DVD Music Disk
On the "ADD TO PROJECT" options ?
1--Add to Project
2--Import From CD/DVD
If you are using the right options for what you are trying to accomplish it should work fine.

In Music Disc Creator, Audio CD for project type (WAV), Import from CD/DVD. I get the pop-up box asking if you want to save, I click it and the progress shows it ripping until it gets to 99%, then it stops and freezes. You have to go into Task Manager to shut it down. I suppose I could work around it by ripping in WM11 (which seems much faster) and then using Add to Project from a saved file, but I can't figure out why I can't just rip from a CD in Music Disc Creator.
