Keep getting this error: Error -Pure Virtual Function Call

Seems when I drag the playhead I get the error and the program closes.

Anybody have any ideas?

I'm getting really pissed off with this program. It's really becoming totally unusable. With the cost of this program I expected more reliability and better features.

that sounds like a codec issue. something you installed after installing DVDit Pro HD is causing a conflict. is this with any type of video or just one kind? what kind? you might have to do a clean install. here is a location with some instructions for that:

http://cs.sonic.com/scripts/texcel/swise/k...12&clean%20

...though the registry references would be Roxio DVDit Pro HD, not Sonic. Common files could be in Sonic or Roxio folders.

Did the clean install, same problem. At this point it seems to only happen with video from Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8. The files from VMS8 are m2t, renamed to mpg or m2v for DVDit to recognize. I find that VMS8 is the best program for editing my HDV video so I would hate to not be able to use it. Any ides, workarounds, alternatives?

the application doesn't support transport files. renaming them isn't going to change that.

Ahh..OK. Any difference in quality with transport files? Pros or cons? I notice if I move the slider then stop and let the program 'catch-up' as I call it, it doesn't crash. Everything else goes fine after that. Next question is (maybe needs another topic) can I change the menu aspect ratio once I begin a project?
