HI,

I added a video to VideoWave 9, and then I added images in the end of the movie.
Now I want to add transition theme to individual image. But when I right click on the image and select 'Apply transition theme', it applies to all images
How can I set it each individual image a separate theme.

Thank you for your help,
Stan

You don't apply a "theme" to an individual transition. As the name implies, and as you found out, it applies a set of transitions (a.k.a. a theme) to the whole produciton. To apply a single transition between two objects, switch to storyboard view, then right click on the transition indicator between the two panels you want the transition, and select a transition to go there.

As Larry said, you don't add a transition theme.  You add a transition.  If you aren't a fan of right clicking, then all you have to do is click on Add Transition.  It's right above Add Transition Theme.

Thank you.

It worked atlest the first 10 times to add a transition. But now it is given me a problem, not sure why.

After I choose a transition, and click the button to add, an error occures: that displays " An Unhandled win32 exception occurred in VideoWaver9.exe[2432], and once I close the bug, the VideoWaver 9 closes..

No idea why it started given me this problem. I didnt install or uninstall anything...

Any ideas?

ps: I tired restarting my pc, and running VideoWaver like 10 times, and it still gives me this error.. sad.gif

Please advice...

Thank you...

I had trouble in the past adding a transition this way also. I add them by going to effect selector and dragging my transition into the box you want. I have found that I don't encounter any problems doing this. Good luck and I hope that helps.

Thank you. Worked.

- Got another small question. Sorry I m just new to Roxio, and need some help.

I created a dvd with chapters . This is how I did it:

I went to Roxio Creator 9 Home. and clicked Quick DVD with MyDVD Express.
Then clicked Add new Movie and added a movie I created, and then I created chapters.

When I went to to burn the movie. It gave me an error that I dont have enough space
Used: 4772.5MB Free -72.5MB and the Quality "Fit to Disk". The movie is only 1hr and 15mins.

I dont know what I should do.  I didnt know the movie should be less than 1 hr. or am I missing something..

Thank you for your help,
Stan

A 4.7gb DVD holds about 1 hour of movie at best quality…

You would have to degrade the video quality to get that much movie on. Never used Express but I would guess there is a selector for quality or Fit to Disc.

Choose 8.5Gb DVD and High Quality. Create an ISO image. Then burn using DiscCopier to 4.7gb disc. DC should take care of compressing it to 4.7gb disc. There will be slight degradation of quality.

For 'best' quality, keep under one hour, but if you had it set to 'fit to disk', then you should NOT have gotten that message.  I've put as much as 2 hours on a single 4.7 disc although the quality wasn't as good if there was only one hour.
