Hi

Could someone please help?

I am using EMC 8 with the latest update but cannot get it to copy to a DVD +R DL disc that it asks for as I have a 3 hour movie to trascode and it will not fit on a single layer disc!

I have a LG4163B drive with the latest driver and A106 firmware and have tried 3 versions of DL disc with no luck!

Videowave can join the 3 DIVX files I have together and create chapters and recognises the disc as 8.45Gb but after spending 10hours transcoding the video it won't actually copy to the DL disc and shows no error messages either!

Has anyone any suggestions please as the video I am trying to copy is King Kong 2005 the full proper DVD that doesn't get released until May 2006?

I have a 2.GHz P4 Dell with 760Mb RAM and an 80GB hard drive so has anyone any ideas what the issue is or can they recommend any software to try?

If I ever get the disc done I am offering the DVD for £10 plus postage!

Thanks and all the best

Steve

I believe that it is, Gary.  I am not sure, though.  I know it is legal in many countries, but not here.  I would hope that this thread is closed, soon.
