Have a TSSTcorp DVD +RW TS-H553A on a DELL 745 optiplex that is getting the following error when trying to burn an iso file.

session fixation error while writing lead in - medium error

Have tried different media...Have also flashed firmware to latest version.

Any help is appreciated.

You could try yet a different Brand of media. Try Verbatim. If you still have problems, it could be your burner is shot.

Yeah I thought of that too. I also just tried to burn a regular cd-r and it failed. Looks like the drive may be bad after all.

Thanks for the reply

You're welcome. If it is still under warranty, tell Dell to give you a new one. They are known to put low line burners in their computers, unless you custom build one.
