I'm using EMC v8 (myDVD) and trying to open project .dmsd files that were created in earlier versions to update them.  I get this error:

Open Project Failed error - 80004005

How can't I use my old EMC project files without having to recreate them ?

Thanx in advance.

EMC 8 will not open .dmsd files from previous versions.  If you still have previous versions, on your computer, you will have to use them to complete your projects, or create them from scratch.
