I have a 1 month old Sony VAIO VGN-SZ430N with Vista.  I have been importing home movies to my computer, editing them with EMC 9 and then burning to a disc.  I haven't had a problem until my last mini dv.  It is very digital, and skips A LOT!!  I have already tried removing any unnecessary files and defragging my drives.  I have also downloaded the latest version of Direct X from the Windows website.  I have learned from trying different things, that specific mini dv is the only one that is causing the problem.  Any suggestions?  I would appreciate it, Thanks!!
