I am trying to use Videowave9 for the first time & I am getting a box saying that Mpeg 2 codec needs to be activated. I press OK to activate and get an error message saying. no permission - Bad installation. I am running the program as an administrator. I am running vista ultimate with all updates. Any help in getting this sorted out would be very much appreciated.

Check the activation area for some information that might help you. If you do a search on the error message, you'll find lots of information. I had to follow the clean install instructions 3 times to get this corrected.

You might try calling this number to see if it helps:

MPEG-2 Codec Activation: 1-877-627-6619.

Not sure what will happen as I have not had to use it.

Good luck
