Previous to my formating my PC i was not able to succesfully load EMC9. The loading would stop three quarters of the way with a fatal error (blue screen) and reboot.
When i clicked on the Roxio icon - an error message whoud come up:

"The application or DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared\homeutils9.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."

I ended up formating my PC - just to eliminate any clashes with other programs etc.
The same is happening again.

I'm not impressed.
is there an answer to this problem? mad.gif

Are you installing in a user account or an administrator? (it does need admin privileges to install)

Also, check that there isn't a problem with the CD. Make a folder anywhere (desktop or wherever) and copy the CD contents into that. If they copy fine, run setup.exe from there and see what happens.

If you still have problems, let us know
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
