Hi Everyone,
I am using EMC 8 Suite and the Media Import capability to capture a secition of a previously recorded DVD. The audio comes after the mouth movements on the screen. I am using a USB video grabber which works great with other programs that I have, but I really like the way that Media Import works.
Can anyone help me with this issue?
PS... I am using XP SP2 with 1 gb of RAM and a 3 ghz P4 processor.
Thanks,
Larry W.
Who previously recorded it?
Just copy the VOB files from the DVD to your hard drive. Re-name the files to mpg and use them in the program. This is much faster and you'll have no sync issues.
Before you do the renaming, make sure windows is set to not hide known file extensions. You see the name of the video with the VOB extension. You can rename them. If you see name of the file.VOB.mpg, in Explorer, you didn't rename them properly.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
