Since installing EMC9 trial version I am getting E-mails daily offering a 50% reduction on the product to £29.99. However when clicking on the Buy Download link I get an order screen but can't purchase! I've tried E-mailing Roxio customer support but get no reply. Also when I launch EMC9 I get an advert which mentions a 50% time limited offer. I click on this and get to a screen asking me to pay £44.99 for the product. Has anyone else got similar problems and are the daily E-mails a hoax (nb they are from [roxio@roxioemail.com]) I have already purchased one license for my daughter (at £59.99 from PC World) and all I want is a cheap second license to install on my own PC where I still have the trial installed.

Even though I have 9 pieces of Roxio software registered, I rarely get emails. When I do get them, it's usually a bunch for a short time then they just stop. With v10 coming out, I would expect that to increase.
Haven't seen what you're experiencing.

Are you opening the EMC V 9 Trial to the Home screen? If you are ( I had my firewall block it) your connecting to Roxio and they're showing you adds, and sending the email. Why the offer to buy won't work I don't know. A call to Roxio customer service, a free call. I'm sure they would help you buy the sale product. Version 10 will be out soon two to four weeks and you might want to buy that version instead.
