After (clean) re-installing EMC9 on my recently purchased Dell Vostro 1500 (with Vista Ultimate OS), I noticed that there are some applications that are not available. Dell tech tried to troubleshoot the prob for hours and ended up sending me another disk. I loaded the new disk, run the program, but still got the same result. Did anybody get the same prob in the past?

I'm guessing here - but if you installed a version from Dell, it's probably EMC 9 DE (Dell Edition)

Like all other OEM versions, there are programs which just won't be there as it's a cut-down version of the full suite
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
