Do you have the downloaded version, or the Retail boxed version?

I assume you have the retail version of EMC 9 (either boxed or purchased and downloaded from Roxio), not an OEM version (e.g. from Dell or HP); the latter are cut down versions and I don't know whether they include Music Disc Creator.

If you do have the full retail version, did you select complete during the install? If so it should be there. I don't know what is included or excluded in the Typical option. Custom option, of course, lets you picjk and choose.

Have you checked whether there is a shortcut to it in start/programs/Roxio Easy Media Creator 9/Audio?

If it really isn't there, but should be, you could try Control panel, add/remove programs. Select Roxio Easy media creator 9 suite, click Change. Follow the wizaed until you get to a screen that gives the 3 options Modify, Repair, Remove. Select Modify, click next. A box will open in which you can see what is or is not installed. If Music disc creator is not installed, select it to install it (if I recollect, you right click on it and click on the appropriate icon).

If the Modify option does not solve the problem (perhaps because Music disc Creator is actually installed, but for some reason is not functioning) try the repair option.

I now see that I have the Roxio 9 XE version...looks like I bought the wrong one by mistake..Thank you for your help!!!!
