Running WinXP SP2 / Pentium 4 processor / 1g ram / Radeon 9250 video adapter with 256mb ram.
Yeah, the video card is a tad old. Not sure if it has enough horsepower for ECD9 or not.
All I have done with it so far is try to add audio background to the menu. Haven't even messed with any video but sooner or later ECD9 freezes up forcing me to shut it down with task manager. Do I need a new video adapter now? If not, is there a fix or workaround for this?
Additionally, I can't get a .MP3 file to play in the background. .wav is the only type of audio that seems to work. Is this a software limitation or do I have another problem? .MP3 is listed as a supported filetype.
Thanks
DH
1) Update the drivers for that video. Go
here and follow the install instructions. (Uninstall-reboot-install-reboot). Even if you have these drivers already you might want to try just in case something has been corrupted..
2) In VideoWave, go to the top menu -- tools, options and put a dot near software. Try again
3) There are many options for mp3 music; some of which Video Wave does not like. Convert the mp3 to wav files by using Sound Editor. Add the music file and then
export them as wav files.
Let us know how it goes.
