OK, just paid nearly $600 for this software, boy I wish I had come in here and read some of this stuff first. I'm thinking of asking for a refund but want to exhaust all support options first.

I've just installed the software and I have a 6GB mpg file that I have created with Edius Pro 4. It's a HD file at 1440x1080. When I import the media DVDit Pro HD crashes after about 10 seconds...

Error here...screen grab of the error after I have clicked details so that people can see the module that has crashed...

Any ideas please? Support haven't answered yet via the support system. I'm feeling very nervous about my purchase right now..

Hmm 19 views so far and no suggestions.

I've asked for a refund. Happy to wait 24hrs or so before I hear. I've just called the support line at £1 a minute in the UK and they said uninstall and install again, oh dear...done that...I've replied to the guy I spoke to in an email. Cian his name is, lets see what happens next...

Not impressed at all so far. This software seems very unstable at best...

I've tried the various tricks on clean MPG2s I'm just encoding that file again using 1080 50i to see if that makes any difference, this is a legal format I believe where as 1080p 25 isnt! :S

It does sound like the file is killing the demuxer, I would try to a couple of things:

1)  demux the file with something else or create the elementary streams with Edius
2)  try importing a simple dvd mpg2 file just to make sure it's not an installation/dll issue
3)  try a short clip, maybe about 5 min. with different mpg2 settings.

did a little research, and the cldemuxer.ax that you are seeing an error in is not our program, it is Cyberlink's Power DVD.  this string tells of similar issues with a program called HDTVpump conflicting with Cyberlink.

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=117644

It also shows a process for temporarily disabling cldemuxer.ax

Try that and see if it solves your issue.  you may need to reinstall DVDit Pro HD after you disable cldemuxer.ax as it may have somehow attached itself to that path.

You genius!

I do have Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra, I use it to play hi def stuff on my PC. As a test I just unregistered that dll cldemuxer.ax and it worked! DVD Ultra appears to work too!

I do remember trying that TS thingy ages ago too...oh man...great investigative work Scott...

Just awesome support my friend. All I can say is I hope that Roxio know that you are fixing stuff where their support guys I called had no idea, and honestly, I don't think they wanted to pursue it.

I'll continue testing but it's look good, hats off to you!

Regards,
Tony

I am wondering if cldemuxer.ax could be causing my runtime error, I don't get an error report so I just don't know the cause. Support could'nt help me.
