Hi, I'm a newbie here and I have a question. I have a video clip that is to long to put on one DVD. I want to split it and put it on two DVD's. In timeline I can split it but I don't know how to get it from there to where I can burn the two splits. Can anyone help me with this?

I have never done this before, but this is how I would think it would be done.
1. Place your file in video wave
2. Find a central point and split the file
3. Save each file and then send each ( only one process at time) to My DVD.

Note: On the first and second file you will have to delete the section before and after the cut(eg in the case of saving the first half you will delete the second half and then reverse for the save of the second half)

Good luck.

Easy way…

Load it in MyDVD. Select Edit and split it and Save As 'Full Project'.

Edit and delete the first half. Save As 'Disc2', burn.

Load Full Project, edit and delete last half. Save As 'Disc1', burn.

Thanks James. I guess that I went about it the long way. Like I stated I had never done this before.
