Constant Crashing Roxio 9 Crashing

Easy Media 9 constantly crashing in Vista Ultimate, 2gig ram 200 gig sata hard drives on very decent laptop, trying to burn my old minidiscs, vinyl and non-protected mp3's to CD, using sound editor with any file over 30 mins, or multiple click loading in, it crashes! Exactly the same with music disc creator. I've had fully licensed Roxio products since creator 5 and always have had problems with them. |Time for a change me thinks, I've heard the "Roman god of love" is stable?

Have you ntried using the "Creator Classic" program in 9 to burn your information to disc ?? If it's just "data" you want to burn then i suggest that's the way to go.

Cheers Frank but have 20+ years of mixed music on various media that I want to convert to CD for car etc, even memory stick when car manufacturers realise that miniturisation is upon us and we don't need huge lumps of plastic built into dashboards

Yeah Aircooled, I have done what you are trying to do and have many new digital CDA's I have made from probably more than 45 years of boxes of old tunes. So far I haven't had any problems with version 9.
