I've had EMC9 for about 9 months. I haven't used it in a while. Today when I opened videowave, I can no longer add video effects or transition. When I open those windows, I get a message that says, "There are no items to show in this view." I was able to add these in the past. Any ideas?
No transitions available

If this just happened, restore your computer to a couple of days ago. Something has caused a problem; perhaps a new software program or an update. You indicated that it was 9 months since you tried working with it but it may be somethng that you added recently.
If that doesn't work or is not practical, just do a repair to the program and to the contents programs using Windows Add or remove programs path. Have your discs ready.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
