try this

Make a temp folder anywhere on your computer (desktop or wherever and call it whatever you like). Open that, open the Cd and copy all files to the folder you just made.

If they copy, then double click on setup.exe - if they don't copy, check for thumb prints or damage to the CD

Let us know if that worked

I just purchased the Verizon 9 CD because quite honestly when I downloaded the Verzion 8 I experienced a problem with the download but it did install.

I just paid for and received and tried to install the Easy Media Suite Verizon Creator 9 and it LOCKS up my computer with an application error. I tried not using the html intro screen and going directly to the exe program but still locked up with an APP error of the main EXE. I copied to a temp folder.....same problem. I put in a Trouble Ticket but haven't heard back yet. For now I have a useless program CD and NO program for which I was charged on my C. Card.

Yep, if I don't hear from Roxio in the next couple of days, this will be the last Roxio product I buy and I will apply for a refund and send their CDS back.

Just for the record, I'm running an HP notebook with 40 gig of available space, XP Pro and 1 Gig of memory.

Oh yeah...my trouble ticket: 442320 .

Your are in a users forum, not Roxio tech support. You purchased your version from Verizon, not Roxio. I don't know if it is a bad disc, or it is a problem with your laptop.

What are you laptop specs? Try updating the video chip, and shut off any internet protection software, including your antivirus, when you are trying to install.

I thought that, when I saw the first spelling, but when I saw it over and over again, I changed my mind.
