Hi, I'm not very technical, so I hope someone can help. I downloaded the EMC9 program to make a slideshow for a wedding. I used the Videowave feature to compile my show, then MYDVD Express to burn the project. Everything seems to be working, the overall progress gets to 97% . Then the current task goes to 'burning image' and i can hear the drive running and running, but the screen just freezes up.
I've tried updating drives and everything else I could think of. Thanks

OK - if you have the latest drivers from ATI installed, try getting DirectX 9.0c from Microsoft (it's not part of the normal Windows updates but has to be downloaded on its own)

Also, make sure that there are no apps running in the background (messengers, etc). In fact, run a spyware check using either Lavasoft's Adaware SE and/or Spybot S&D (both free for personal use). Again, defragment the drive before starting to render

Let us know if none of that works
