I did a factory restore on my computer and uninstalled emc 9 de. I went through my computer and removed everything I could find that said roxio or sonic. I now have the software installed-BUT-I received the EMC 9 Suite trial disc in the mail from element 5, I purchased a cd key, I was instructed to download & install RoxioEMCSuiteTrialUpv9.0_RTU.exe, roxiocontentcdv9.0_sui.exe & DM_DVD_Styles_11.exe which I did. I installed them over the trial version (because I tried to install them once without installing the trial version and they did'nt work) and now 2/3rds of the features do not work. Please dont give me the same clean install instructions, I have tried them 30 times to a "T" along with the drag 2 disc and the invalid cd patch and they are not working. There's another reason it's not working and someone at roxio has to know what the problem is, dont they? I have had my new computer now for about 4 weeks now and trying to get this software in has kept me from being able to enjoy it because I am afraid to put all my other software and media files in because i've restore my computer so many times. Along with the $50. I paid for the software I have a legitimate 100 plus hours messing with it. Since no-one wants to replace the crap trial cd that I paid for with a full version disc (I have no idea why they wont since I went past the 30 day period trying to follow knowledgebase and support instructions) roxio needs to get my problem figured out so I can use my software. In the future roxio should refrain from allowing trial versions of their products to be sent out to the general public. In the past I purchased Easy CDC 5 and six retail versions and had no problem but right now all I have is an expensive coaster.
