I bought Media Creator as a download and after several attempts got it to download.  I have 30 days, less now, to make a backup copy but I cannot find out how to do it.  Also, I cannot get my software registered even following emailed instructions, turning off popups etc, switching off firewall etc   Help for a technological novice please.  Ijk

You will need winzip or winrar first, also you will need the program installed (just double click the downloaded file and follow the prompts)

Right click on the downloaded exe files (there are two) in turn and 'open with winzip (or winrar). Extract the files in that to a folder anywhere (making sure that you have one folder for program and another for content)

After installing, open Creator Classic and go to each folder, add all the contents to the pane (you can use drag and drop from the saved folder).

The easy way for the next stage is to click burn, but instead of burning to CD, choose 'burn to image file' and save it in the folder where you have the files so that you know where it is- do this for both folders

Go to the new folders, put in a blank CD, double click on the Roxio icon (that should be the .iso file you just made) and sit back for a few minutes. Repeat for the second folder and you will have two 'installation' CDs
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
