Right click, select 'Open With' and then tick the box that says "Always use the selected program"
Then when you double left click it, whatever program you selected will be default

Creator Classic does not open or read other file types, that's not how it works: it would not know what to do with them. If you do try to open another file type using the Windows Explorer open with method, Creator classic will open, try to load the file and give an error message that it could not (because it is not one of its own project files).
As I said: Open Creator Classic, navigate to the file you want in Creator Classic's own Explorer type panel and drag it to the project pane to add to the burn project, . Or if you are really intent on using Windows Explorer, you can also drag files from Windows Explorer into Creator Classic's project pane.
Or, if you want to burn a DVD from an iso image (as opposed to burning the .iso file as is on a data disc), use disc copier instead. It does know what to do with an iso file and will open with it loaded if you use the Windows Explorer open with method.

Which program did you associate it with. Unless it was Disc Copier, it isn't go to open in the software.

The right click is a function of the operating system (OS) that you are using.

When I right click and iso on my system, one of the choices I have is 'Burn with Creator'. Choosing 'Open With' shows this particular system, MagicISO and Roxio Creator.
