Does V.8 Require An Internet Connection?

I have heard that version 8 of EMC requires an internet connection to activate every single portion of the application. I do not have an Internet connection on my work computer, can I still use the product?

EMC 8 does not include any product activation, as such no internet connection is required. Of course you won't be able to use features which rely on the Internet like LiveShare (sharing photos) or CDDB (downloading track names)

Yes, it is very rare to come across free beer samples. :D However, I never leave Costco hungry. :)
