to much color in my play back modes to much color

Hi , I purchased cretor 8 about 2 years ago. I havent attempted to use in a while. Now that I have time I want to put some family phots together. The pictures are fine when I export them when they are shown in the time line view, I try to preview the pictures are just distorted with color . just full of various colors. This is the only thing I am having problems with eveRy other program show things as they are, except for roxio, dvd or cine magic. When I am trying To get a preveiw. Its as if I have trasitions added with gold pleates and various colors over the preview pictures. In my pc they are fine until I go to any preview.

Try updating your video card drivers and directx9
