while editing a Music DVD project (Music Disk Creator EMC 8), adding pictures from jpg files, I some how turned off SMART OBJECTS and now I can't select any pictures from my hard drive for a background on a track.

Any suggestions on how to "turn on" the SMART OBJECTS again!? blink.gif

PLEASE EMAIL YOUR SUGGESTIONS, AS I AM RARELY IN ANY FORUMS, EXCEPT TO FIND HELP! biggrin.gif

THANKS

What you can also do is set your options to e-mail you when there's a reply - that way you get a link right to the reply without enyone else seeing your address

Based on the original posting, I don't think the OP will be back so there is really no good reason to post the solution. sad.gif or even pm or e-mail or anyone got a telephone number?

He probably thinks we have access to his personal info and can use the e-mail he registered with - just unfortunately we don't wink.gif

THAT IS CORRECT. I THOUGHT THE EMAIL WOULD SHOW UP. (I received an email from somone!)

I have it set to email when there is a reply to the post and then I log in. I never thought about the SPAM thing. Thanks for mentioning it.

My System is Gygabite AMD 64 CPU Motherboard in a clone case. I have 3 GB DDR2 ram, Nvidia chipset,
Realtek AC97 Audio, OS is Win XP Pro 64bit, SP2. NVIDIA GeForce MX4000 video card w/128Meg VRAM.
HP840 DVD writer, TDK 52x CD writer.

EMC 8 music disk creator works fine, I have a Music DVD project open where I have some 300 old songs I captured from LP and Cassette. I have been working on this for a week off and on. I was at track 136 when I clicked on something (have no idea what) and the thing went to another screen and SMART OBJECTS was grayed out! I've been adding a picture.jpg of the artist, which I had GOOGLED, as background for the track which is in the Smart Object Menu.

Amazing, I opened the project just now to see where it had jumped to, and everything is back where it was, and SMART OBJECTS is no longer grayed out. I did not reboot the computer. All i did was save and close . Went and did some lawn maintenance, came back and opened the email and then this! Just plain magic, But I do want to thank you all for the effort. rolleyes.gif
