I have to say that I am very frustrated with the lack of support I've been getting in trying to solve this problem.  This issue is not listed in the knowledgebase and the so-called Roxanne feature seems to only solve FAQs. This forum is my last hope!

I am using MyDVD. When I try to open my .dvd file I receive the following error: runtime error: use of invalid editor "EditorBase" -3

So far I have wiped every reference of software labelled Sonic or Roxio from my machine and reinstalled. Next they had me go to two Microsoft sites:

The first site had me update my registry with asp.net information (?). The second site had me completely baffled as to how it would help. It was MS Solutions Framework Version 3 White Papers!

Does anyone know why this is occurring or have a fix?  Whoever has been "helping" me via email sure doesn't.
