I just purchased a new DVD burner from Dell that came with the MYDVD LE Version 6.1.6 and I go to add a file/movie to burn, which is a AVI extension, and I get the error message (Could Not Make A Thumbnail. Make Sure You Have The Appropriate Decoder Installed. -47010)
How do I correct this? I already sent a message to Tech support about 3 times.

This one seemed to work for a lot of people.
Go to:
Start
All programs
Divx
DivX codec
Decoder Configuration Utility
Uncheck the box that says “use advanced hardware overlay”
