Does anyone know if the 9.1 update being released will require that 9 be installed first? I would like to do a completely clearn install of EMC 9.1 on a fresh Vista system and be sure that there are no artifacts left over from version 9. Is there a way to do this with the 9.1 update?

I did purchase a full downloaded version of EMC 9, but I would just rather not install it on my new Vista box and just go right to 9.1.

My understanding is that the 9.1 updater requires that version 9.0 is installed first.

Does anybody what it is designed to fix. I have windows xp sp2.
Would the fix be only for vista users only or would there be other fixes for windows xp users as well?

Thank you

the fix is for both, and yes it makes both more stable (my opinion only) and im sure most will find it sorts out there small issues.

I'll make it short and sweet:

Yes.

Ok, maybe it wasn't so sweet....

I would think that the list of bug fixes would be too numerous and lengthy to publish.  However, it would be nice to know what major problems haven't been fixed.  I suspect that we will not see either.
