sad.gif I had just purchased the Easy Media Creator 9 Suite.  When I try to burn a slide program it gets to step 3 then fresses up.  Please help.

Can you give uis a few more details - basically all you said is you can get your car out of the driveway and then it stops

Tell us exactly what you're doing, step by step; whether you're running the app from the start menu or the assistant and also some computer specs (CPOU, speed, RAM and graphics card)
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

Use VideoWave instead of that Assistant.

Ellie May looks like a hit and run poster, so you may not be seeing any answers from her.

What program are you using?  Have you tried using VideoWave?  List the steps you took to create the production, and what you did to try to burn it.

Also, to save some time, list your system specs, similar to how I have mine listed in my signature.

I am having problems in Step 3 as well. When I click on Save this Project, this error message appears: "Failed to analyze media files. One or more of th files you have selected may be unsupported or corrupt." It appears that there is no way to get back to the project to edit it or save it; I have to Ctrl-Alt-Delete to get out of the program and then start over from scratch. It's very frustrating.

The advice still holds.  DO NOT use the Slide Show Assistant; USE Video Wave to create your slide show project !

If you are using the three step Assistant and you already have a slide show made, use step 3 to do your final editing in Video Wave.  Once you have done your editing, select to output your slide show to a mpg2 file for DVD best.  If you get an error there, the encoding ill hang and you'll be able to see where and correct issues with a bad slide or other.

Again, what computer do you have?  What types of images are you adding?  What music?  Music you rented from an on-line store cannot be used directly in this program because of DRM rights.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
