Error: Unable to load skin?

Please help. I just got a new HP computer with windows vista and I want to burn a dvd, but when I go to myDVD basic v9, it says Error: Unable to load skin. How can I fix this?

I did not think that that error would show up in Vista.  Search the forums.  This is one of the KB articles for XP but it may offer some hints for Vista.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
