This program has been nothing but problematic. It has caused my computer to freeze up several times. I just installed the update patch and now I can't acceess Slideshow Assistant. This is not fun! Does anyone know how to uninstall the update patch?

You could try a repair install but I know of no way to uninstall the update.
If your system is freezing up, there may be a conflict causing this.

Can you get to VideoWave? If not, there is definately a conflict. Until you can get to the Assistant, you might try using VideoWave for those slide shows; not as easy but more flexibility and reliability.

You might try to change/repair V8 using Windows add remove programs from your disc or download. That should get you back to the original. I don't believe that the update would be applied unless you wanted to at a later date. I have not tried this but it may work.
