System Slow

I am having significant problems with EM 7.5 hanging up when I cancel transferrring of files to a "copy file" project. Does anyone have suggestions on why these applications run so SLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWW?

Not enough information. What computer do you have (specs) and what program within EMC 7/7.5 are you using? What are you actually doing? :)

A good place to start is to defrag your hard drive but there could be many reasons and as Steve mentions, we need more info.
