Dvd Error?

Hi im using Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 and im trying to put Simpsons episodes onto a DVDR (4.7gb) disk. It gets to transferring the 4th episode on and an error comes up.

I have no idea why this is and any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

That means that there is likely something wrong with the source file you have placed in the fourth title. Try removing it from the project, then try burning to an image file only, not disc. If that completes without an error, that will confirm that the problem is in the video file you added as title 4.

At first i tried to put 6 episodes on and the same error came up. So i took out episode 4 and it still came up the same error :)

Ill try what you said though and hope that it works  :huh:

Nope the episode seems to be fine! I put the single ep on a disk and it worked perfectly? I tried it with 6 different episodes and again it said the same error about the encoding of 4 of 6 (Transcoding Phase). Anyone know what else the problem can be?

I think Larry meant to try this.

Instead of burning to a DVD, UNCHECK the DVD burner and CHECK the 'image file' underneath.   That will burn a file to your hard drive and if you get the same error message, then there is something wrong with the production.

Did you just try playing that DVD?  Are they all there?  Some people have had false error notification for an unlnown reason

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
