When I switch on my PC in the morning the following message appears:
"Sonic Update Manager
The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disc that is not available. Insert the 'Sonic Update Manager Disc' and click OK." Below that where it says "Use source" the figure '1' is already entered
Sonic came installed on my PC so I don't have any discs.
If I click the x at the top to remove the message, another one appears saying:
"The path '1' cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'UM.MSI' in a folder from which you can install the product SUM". I don't have an installation package and have no idea what any of this means.
If I click the x at the top to remove this message, the original message re-appears, and I am left going round in circles.
Does anybody know how I can stop the original message from appearing unbidden on my screen please?
All the best, Ken
