After struggling with EMC9.0 for a while and finding my video DVDs going in and out of sync with the sound, I downloaded the 9.1 patch and found the results disastrous, it went so far out that it was like watching one thing with sound from another.

In desperation I removed all traces of it from my computer and downloaded EMC10, this morning I burnt a 1½ hour film to DVD and the sound is still in perfect sync. right to the end.

It is however a bit annoying that I have had to buy two versions of the program in less than six months.

I just hope that it continues to work as one try is not an exhaustive test.

A lot of things can knock the audio out of sync - just keep your hard drive defragmented and keep running spyware/malware sweeps regularly and hopefully it will behave
