After some searching in the registry, they appear to be related to the DMX (Digital Media Experience). They do not occur if the account using the DMX is an administrator-level account, so I think that this is a permissions problem. The rest of EMC9 seems to work normally. What kind of permissions do I need permit the Windows Installer to complete its detection? The account involved is running as a Limited access account on Windows XP SP2.
