I have bought a new Dell Laptop which comes with Roxio Creator & My DVD 9.0 DE

Last Saturday the computer kept saying when i put any sort of disc into the dvd that it needs to be burnt also pre recorded audio cd would not play

We then tried a few things to no avail, so we reinstalled all the software including Vista Home Premium and we are now being told by the Laptop that there is a compatability issue with vista.

I Spoke to Dell who said that is was vista compatable and have sent me another Roxio disc exactly the same apart from the Rev the Original was REV A01 and the one they have now sent is REV A00

Does any body know what is going on and will the REV A00 work if i again reload all the software again

Thank you in advance

The only people who would know what is on Dell OEM versions unfortunately is Dell. Nobody here would know

The only part of the full suite that is incompatible with Vista is Drag to Disc - but that shouldn't have been installed. If it was, go to add/remove programs in control panel and remove it (Vista has its own packet writing system)
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
