After plug and burn x 3 mini dv's , my computer would not recognize dvd's. It would play cd's only. I have been reading the support forums and tried to repair thru add/remove which resulted in a fatal error 1316 which occoured 2 times with the repair action. I then removed the program and proceded with a clean install but could not accomplish because of corrupt certificates.  Manually removed traces with exception of all of the dll files and cab folders for roxio and sonic. Any suggestions at this point would be appreciated! ty

System restore worked this time and I am back where I started when I first restored the computer after the MSI problem. I do not have sound when playing DVD's seems to be the only problem and I lost power dvd by cyberlink. I do have sound with audio cd's but any type of dvd does not have sound. I think I can manage to reinstall after I get sound back and figure out what happened. Any help or sugestions will be appreciated!! thanks
