Using Video effects that are added to a slide show do not work. Like the one called blobs. Any ideas? My buddys Roxio 10 does the same thing.

If it is a 3D effect, and your video card doesn't support it, it won't show.  In VideoWave, click on Tools/Options and see if there if Software is selected below Render Using.

If it is, click on the Graphics Test button, let it go through its paces, and see if it defaults to Hardware or Software.  No matter which one it defaults to, update your video drivers, and run the test again.

In software rendering, the 3D transitions will not be available for use in a slide show.
