Have EMC9 Deluxe Suite. After I save production in Videowave, I go to My DVD to set up menu. I type in the title I want, then go to change the color of the text from the default of yellow, to blue. It shows up as blue in the window, but when it burns the DVD and I watch it on a TV, it is always yellow. Won't change the color of the title to what I want. This has happened on all the productions I have done since using EMC9. Is there another way to change the color other than using the color box at the top of the preview window. Any suggestions? Thank you. MK

If you don't have a thumbnail to the left of the title, then the text is always yellow, because it is automatically highlighted on the menu.

Sounds like you are using the correct method to change the color of your menu title. Why iot doesn't stay that color once you have com[pleted editing the production, saved it and burned to DVD, I'm not sure. After you make the color change, does the color show correctly when you click on "Preview" ?

Frank, as I recall, if you don't use a menu style, with a button, the title of the movie is what gets highlighted when you put your DVD, in a set top DVD player. If you use a button, that button gets highlighted, and the color of the title text will show as whatever color it was changed to, and the button will be yellow.

I can't remember if the highlight color can be changed, but I think it can.

Yeah, I think you are right Bruce. I was thinking only of changing the color of the menu title with a changed menu style that has no button. I guess I thought that the OP was talking about the menu title as opposed to the color of the button. I guess when I checked, I should have checked with a menu style that had buttons and then I would have seen what you are saying. Good catch Bruce. I'm not sure about changing the highlighted color either.

As an addendum to that thread, to change the transparency reduce the numbers in the boxes. 0 gives completely transparent (invisible), 15 seems to give solid. I find about 6 is good.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner with results. I had no idea I could go under View/settings and change color. I tried it, went to preview button, and it seems to work. Previously, when I would click the preview button, the color still showed up as yellow. Right now am working on a new project and hopefully this will solve my problem. My problem is that I seem to stick to the "Old stand-by" ways of doing things and I don't use EMC to it's full abilities. Fun to learn new techniques. Thanks again to all, and will update when I get this done. MK

You are welcome, and I hope it works for you. I learned from the other posts in this thread.
